Painted sugar cookies

I always drag my feet about decorating cookies.  I find it much easier, especially with the kids, to just do drop cookies or slice and bake (with home made batter of course ;) ).  BUT...I just came across this post from the lovely and very talented Jessica at Shower of Roses and decorating cookies just got a whole lot easier.  My cookie Nazi SIL may even like this idea ;)
