6 1/2 months old

Where, oh where does the time go???  I can't believe Pumpkin is 6 months old already.  Intellectually I know he's 6 months old.  But somewhere in my brain, he's still only about 2 months old.  I know he should be sitting, getting ready to crawl, eating, etc.  You know, all the things a 6 month old does.  I know these things.  I've done this 3 times already.  I know the drill.  But somehow it still surprises me when I see him sit so well, or do something else I don't think he should be able to do. 

Where did my floppy, sleepy, nursing infant go?  He's certainly not floppy.  He barely sleeps during the day.  I think he's the worst napper of all my kids.  He still nurses.  In my room.  In the dark.  In the silence.  Imagine if you will, how hard it is to get a silent house with 3 older brothers.  Aaach!

That sitting thing I mentioned...

Did I mention he's getting ready to crawl???  We've caught him in his bed several times up on hands and knees rocking.  He now does it on the floor too.  He's also getting quite close to getting to sitting by himself .

It's such hard work being cute :)
